Nevada Archaeological Association 54th Annual Meeting

The Nevada Archaeological Association (NAA) welcomes and supports the shared interests of archaeologists, rock art scholars, anthropologists, and avocationalists. The 54th Annual Meeting returns to southern Nevada but for the first time will be held in Mesquite. As always, the meeting will highlight archaeological research concerning prehistoric and historic topics of the state. The NAA annual meeting is a low-key, student-friendly experience that features high-quality presentations about contemporary research. A Preliminary Schedule of conference proceedings will be released on the NAA website and emailed to the membership soon, but at a glance:
Friday 3/27 – Registration, morning workshops, afternoon papers, NAA Board Meeting, pre-dinner poster session/social; post-dinner social
Saturday 3/28 – Registration, paper sessions, keynote address, NAA Membership Business meeting, evening social hour, banquet and awards, live auction
Sunday 3/29 – Morning tours
All proceeds from the meeting benefit the NAA.
